Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I applied for green card through marriage. My spouse is a citizen, I'm having F1 status. Do I need to keep going to school to maintain F1 status after receive the work permit? Or do I have to keep the status until receive the green card? Thank you for answer!

You technically don't need to maintain F-1 status. However, if your adjustment was denied, then you would be out of status. Whereas, if you maintain status & something adverse was to happen, you could theoretically still remain in the country.
