Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
applying for H1B under the 20,000 Advanced Degree Quota
I have a US masters degree in IT and want to go back to the US on a H1B visa. Does it matter when the degree was obtained (I got mine 8 years ago) in order to apply as part of the 20,000 Advanced Degree Quota?
Thanks in advance.

Since you got your Master's from US you qualify under the advanced degree quota. As you know..you have to apply next year in April. Do not wait long as that quota gets exhausted pretty fast as well.

It doesn't matter when you got it. It matters where you got it: in the U.S.
