Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
My aunt wants to apply for a visa but she enterd the U.S. illegally in the year 1997.She got caught and got deported. She wants to know if she qualifys for a visa. She has been living in Tijuana Maxico for about 14 years now. Does she qualify for a visa? Or if she applys will her petioned be denied??? Thank you for your time.

A lot of people think they were deported when in reality were given voluntary departure
It all depends what was done 14 years ago
And the best way to find out is by having a lawyer review what was done
