Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
B-1 Issued?
hello,
I wondering I have a friend who has a felon on his record .He has just applyed for a B-1 Visa to go to Germany for work and he is a bit concerned with this being a factor in him not receiving the Visa. Should he be concerned? Is he going to be able to get one?Is there anything he can do. On the application he mark no in being arrested also. Is this going to cause him more trouble?
Help?

Re: B-1 Issued?
Frankly, your question is extremely confusing. Is your friend going to Germany for work or is he from Germany trying to visit the US? If the former, then he needs a German visa, not a United States B-1 visa. Assuming you mean the latter case, then, I'm sure your friend knows that Germans can visit the US without the need for a visa under the Visa Waiver program. A work visa is a different story though.
