Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

B1 visa extension

How many times can a B1 visa holder

apply for an extension of stay? We

have a domestic helper who is in the

US on a B1 visa. She was given an

EAD with an expiration date 2 years

after her entry into the US (March

2010). However, her I-94 is only

good until March 2009. We have

already applied for one extension.

Can we apply for another one?

This is one of those situations where a difinitive answer is difficult to say, but an educated guess, with the provision of more information on your part would be necessary to make a prediction.
