Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Shall I change name during naturalization?
I did not change my last name when I got married ( even through I wanted to). Now I am ready to apply for citizenship. Shall I change my name during this process, or change my name now via the court, then apply for citizenship, or the third choice is to change my name when I become a citizen. ...which is faster? Thanks.

Re: Shall I change name during naturalization?
Changing a name via marriage may be done at the time you naturalize. Be sure to submit your marriage certificate to show your married name. This is the fastest and easiest method.
