if the child born in united states can he/she carry the lastname of the father or use the the surname even parents are not married or undocumented here in united states and the child born here in united states can get a us passport

Unlike many countries, in the US one can use any name you want as long as it is not done to defraud someone. The name on the passport will likely be the same as on the birth certificate.
