Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

If Im a U.S Citizen and i want to get my husband a green card ..and i get medical to cover a birth will it affect the petition or something?

Are you referring to public benefits, like medicare or welfare? If you are the recipient of such public benefits, it may impact your financial ability to sponsor your husband. But if you have another friend or relative who has sufficient income and is willing to sponsor your husband, then that may be an alternative which will allow you to get the medical care you need.

Hello:

One of the issues of inadmissibility is whether the intending immigrant will become a public charge. By you going on what could be determined to be public assistance, you might not be able to overcome that ground of inadmissibility.
