Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Is there any way I can become a U.S citizen? I have been living here since I was two I am going to be eighteen in october. My dad was emmigrated and he passed away when I was two I was not born here but have been living here for sixteen years I have aunts and uncles who are legally here. My mother lives in Mexico. I have never commited any crimes in my life. Can i become a U.S citizen.

It is possible if your Dad was a U.S. Citizen and you lived with your Dad, but it woud/should have to be done before you turn 18, and would need proof of your father's citizenship and his death certificate, etc. You should definitely speak to an immigration attorney to see what your options are. Are you a permanent resident now? That would be needed first. You might qualify immediately thereafter for U.S. citizenship if you meet the requirements for transmittal of citizenship from your father, or if you are neither a U.S. permanent resident nor citizen through your dad, you might qualify for some other immigration relief.
