Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Citizenship application
I am readay and about to file my citizenship application (N400) after being permanent resident for 5 years. However, my wife is neither a citizen nor a permanent resident of USA. She entered USA with a valid visitor visa but has overstayer for 9 months now.
Does her overstay status has any negative impact on my citizenship application?
Would there be any probelm if I help her apply for permanent resident after I get my citizenship? Thank you very much.

Re: Citizenship application
There will not be any problem whatsoever. After you get citizenship you should apply for your wife.
