Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Getting my citizenship certificate

I went to a legal specialist group and I told them that I came illegally when I was 3 months old, but that my father has recieved his citizenship certificate already. I have a passport but not a certificate, and wanted to get one through my father. I paid and started the process of the N-400, but feel that I should have done the N-600. I had my fingerprints done but I really need a certificate and don't know what I can do to speed upt the process.

OFCOURSE...YOU NEED A N-600. AT THE N-400 INTERVIEW YOU WILL BE TOLD TO FILE THE N-600 APP. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A US PASSPORT WHY DID THEY RECOMMEND TO APPLY FOR N-400?
