Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Citizenship and divorce

If a Frenchman becomes a naturalized citizen and is sworn in, how quickly after that can he get a divorce from his American wife and still remain a citizen? The couple have been married for five years and the husband just became a citizen last week. They want to get a divorce but do not wish to jeopardize his citizenship.
