Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Citizenship and drug arrest
I am permanent Resident and have been one since 1986. However I was arrested for drug position and being under the influence (California code PC 113777 & PC11500) in 1997. I was offered diversion and I completed it successfully. The charges were dismissed and dropped. This is the only conviction I ever had. I am concern that I might not be able to get my Citizenship because of my mistake. Is there any remedies or waivers that I can for naturalizing.

Re: Citizenship and drug arrest
If the case was officially dismissed, I would say that your chances of obtaining Citizenship are pretty good. I represent people for cases in citizenship. Feel free to call me directly.
