I got my green card through my wife which is US citizen and I have 5 years already with it, I'm still marry to her but do I still need her approval to apply for citizenship?.

The previous response is correct. You should be able to apply for it w/o your wife's assistance. Obtaining Citizenship will be of huge benefit in travelling overseas without time restrictions, as well as in helping you to apply for other family members' permanent residence in the States.
