Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Company to sponsor me

Yes I am currently on a F1 visa and got an internship through my school with this very known film company. (I cant mention their name on here cause I dont want to jeopardize my job). And now would like to continue my work for them. I work again on Thursday, should I ask them then? And is it a hassle for a company to file such a thing or not?

As a student in F1 status, you may potentially obtain an employment authorization document either for curricular or optional practical training. You may wish to contact your school's DSO to discuss whether either is available to you for this job.
