Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
daughter's case
i brought my daughter here in the
u.s. in 2005 thru tourist visa under
an assumed name since it will take
time for me to bring her out of the
country using her real name ( since
she is my daughter from a previous
relationship ) i have made her appear
to be my daughter from my current
wife, since i am nurse i was able to
get her all immigration papers
approved and she is now a LPR. my
problem is would i get in trouble later
if i file for citizenship for myself? it'll
be really hard to track down her real
identity since i have given her new
identity on her papers such as birth
cert. passport and u.s. tourist visa
coming here plus her biological
agrees to this arrangement. so what
do i need to do now? if i inform ins
about it would i be forgiven? would i
be able to apply and approved with
my citizenship next year if i do so?
please im desperate for advice thx

Dear Inquirer:
Yes, you could be accused of "alien smuggling" and found removable from the US. There generally is a waiver available if the person "smuggled" is your child, however, the standards for this relief are high.
I recommend that you email [email protected] or visit www.hanlonlawgroup.com if you would like to consult further regarding this matter.

USCIS and ICE have the power to subpoena LawGuru and find out who you are. I doubt your publishing this on the web can be considered attorney-client privileged since LawGuru is not an attorney and there is no attorney-client relationship at all.
Things like perjury and forgery, etc. are serious crimes. Everyone involved is at risk. No attorney can help you commit crimes or cover up crimes -- not, at least, if s/he wants to keep her/his bar license.
It might be best to find untainted counsel who specialize in both immigration and federal criminal law in the San Jose area and have a private, attorney-client privileged discussion. Now that you have posted all this, it is against your own interests to contact me.
