We got interview for Green card but my wife refused to go with me and then she decided to give me divorce and now we are not living together and she filled for a divorce. What is the best option for me to stay in America? Can I do political asylum or anythng else b/c I don't want to leave my baby with her and as i don't have any status she don't allow me to see my child. Plz help me and guide me the right path

There is a good faith exception that you might be able to use if you can show that the marriage was entered into in good faith. The CIS realizes that sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Hi,
There might be a few options to save your green card. I will need to know when was the case file, how long did you wait for the interview, when was the divorce filed and the nature of the relationship. Depending on all the above there might be a way for you to save this case.
