Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Deportation Question
looking for some quick info. My friend is currently in a INS detention center. He has a criminal record, 11 total and at least 2 felonies, the last of which is a stolen car conviction on which he was serving time when picked up by INS. He married someone while locked up with this last conviction but they didn't know each other long and have never lived together. Any chances onhim staying? His next court date is Feb. Please help

Re: Deportation Question
The chances are relatively slim, depending on where he is from, and what the charges have been. I would need more information to better determine his chances.
