divorce, Conditional Greencard and international travel

My divorce was recently finalized. My

2 year conditional greencard expires

in september 2008. Because my GC

is based on marriage, and now that I

am not married, does the expiry date

of 9/08 become void and it is NOW

expired and void?! I need to travel

internationally for work and don't

want to get stuck in China if they

scan my greencard and it now

becomes void because im a

Condtional Resident whose

divorced???

HELP! do i have to file the waiver for

I-751 ASAP to be able to leave the

country???

You can file your I-751 90 days before. Should consult an attorney before you leave town.

Once you are divorced, you can immediately file I-751 to request waiver of joint application.
