Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Divorce

I got my wife a visa from the philippines so shes in the u.S. Now together with my 2 kids. Recently she called me up and said she no longer wants to go back to the philippines and that shes going to divorce me so she could marry somebody who would in turn petition her for fiancee visa which i hesitantly agreed by signing a divorce paper that was send to me by mail. My question is i want to visit my mom and relatives next year in the u.S. My question is that going to affect my b1/b2 visa as i enter the u.S. Cause the immigration officer might ask where are my kids and wife since i know they have a record of departure and arrival of each individual.Im afraid i dont have answer if they ask me such question .Please tell the repercussion of my wifes acts on this matter since im planning to visit u.S. This march thanks and hope to hear from you

Re: Divorce

Just come to the US on your own B1/B2 and don't worry. The INS officer at the airport doesn't care that your wife and kids are already in the U.S.-- he or she wouldn't necessarily know you're married. They're just doing their job and as long as YOU have a valid tourist visa to enter the U.S., that's enough.
