Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hello, My employer applied for a greencard in EB-2 (I have MS in Engineering), my PERM is approved and now about file for i-140. I may have to return back to my country in 3-4 months. What happens to my file if I move back? Would it be easier to come back if I have i-140 approved ?

If you have a valid H-1B or L visa, then you can return to the U.S. without issue. If not, you might have to wait until your priority date is current & apply for your immigrant visa abroad. It just depends on the specific circumstances of your case, which you have not provided in this scenario.
