Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Employment...

I am married to a US citizen (2 months)and have been informed I have to go through a long form filling out process before I can commence work, finger prints etc.. what do I need to do please ? what forms ? how much money is involved ? is it neccessary ?

I do have a social security number(since 1994)does this eliminate me from anything ?

If I made a mistake and wanted to divorce/annul is there any way I could stay in California ?

Thank you in advance

Re: Employment...

You need to prepare an adjustment of status application package for yourself.

You will need to prepare:

2 photos of you

1 photo of your spouse

your birth certificate

your marriage certificate

your husband's proof of citizenship

your proof of legal entry

your passport

INS forms (ask attorney)

You should not have too many problems.
