Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Extension of H-4 visa

I'm on an H-1 visa. My extension is about to expire this Aug 25. I have already receive the notice of receipt from the INS almost two ago but still waiting for the notice of action. My daughter arrived last month but the INS only gave her until Aug 25 to stay in the US. What are the options, should we apply her extension with reference to my status or should she apply on her own knowing that she would need an extra amount of time to review and take the NCLEX exam. Can we file both ? Thanks for your input.

Re: Extension of H-4 visa

sir:

call my office this morning. i will be glad to hear your case, and advise you on what best to do. I have lots of RN cases right now, it has proven difficult in getting some extensions approved, and if you can avoid a denial, it will be best.

It may be possible to extend her status once your status has been extended.
