Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

My fiance of almost 4 years got released from Prison yesterday and he got picked up by Immigration and now he's on an INS hold. Then earlier today they transferred him from Sacramento, Ca to Florence Az, and we don't know why. His green card doesnt expire until May of 2012. Why is ICE putting a hold on him? And how long does this process take to get sorted out? Also, my main question is, is will he get to remain here or will he get deported? I'm 22 and a US Citizen an he's 27 and came from Mexico when heh was 12. would that make a difference? Because I don''t want him to get deported and we share a bond that no one else can compare to. Please help with any information as you can!

The immigration attorney will need to review the criminal records of your fiance to determine whether his conviction is the ground for deportation. We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney.
