Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I filed an I-130 petition for my wife they told me it should be proceeded by January. I am a U.S. Citizen and my wife was never in the country illegally and she is currently in Ukraine waiting to get approved. Once that form is processed what is the next step or is there something I can either of us can do right now?

You need to wait for the I-130 to be approved. You will receive an approval notice in the mail. Your wife's case will then be transferred to the National Visa Center, who will send you an email with further instructions. For more information, please refer to: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/family-preference.html.
