Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

My friend's h1 has been revoked six month back by his previous employer but was never informed and my friend was being paid by previous employer for these whole six months. My friend got to know about this revocation when his new company applied for his h1 transfer. His h1 transfer is approved but extension is denied due to above reason. Now what options he has as it was not at all his fault. Please advise soon.

Hello:

I would need more information. When you say that the H-1 was revoked, do you mean by USCIS? Was he still working for the company who supposedly did this? How long has his change of status application been denied?
