Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Green Card Based on Employment
I need some help in regards to green card based on employment. At what step you can change your employer when you are applying the green card based on employment? Can you find another job after you adjusted your status? Thanks

Re: Green Card Based on Employment
If your adjustment of status application hasn't been adjudicated by the INS after 180 days, you may change employment if the job is in the same or similar occupational classification.
After you adjusted your status (got the green card), of course you can change jobs.
