Green Card Vs. Citizenship!
My Green Card will expire come March 2006,Shall I apply to have it renewed which will give me 10 years or , Is it possible for me to skip it and thjen go right ahead to apply for my Citizenship ? And also I had my name changed and did it thru a judge in SF/ It was processed legally.My social security down to my identification card were all bearing my new name , which is from a Male name to Female name So only my expired Philippinew paSSPORT AND aLIEN CARD are the ones bearing my old name /

Your can directly apply for your citizenship without renewing your green card.
