Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Green Card - Conviction
I have a green card from 1970 that I haven't renewed.
If I get convicted of a pending gross misdemeanor, can I be deported?

Yes you could be deported, your matter is complex and you should get an attorney. If you are located in Orange, San Diego or Imperial Counties, you can email me your contact info, so we can discuss your particular situation. There is no charge for consultation.

Yes, you could be deported depending on the type of crime, for example, a controlled substance crime. You would have to consult with an experienced immigration attorney to see if that is the case.
