Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Green Card Expiration Nearing
My husband's Green card is due to expire in 2010. If he does not become a naturalized citizen prior to the expiration date, what will be his options? Will he be deported?

Re: Green Card Expiration Nearing
No, of course not. He qualified and doesn't need to requalify, however he does need proof that he holds permanent residence and that would be through application for replacement green card filed before expiration of the current one.
Caution that he could be deportable if he committed any deportable acts since acquiring permanent residence or was not honest about admissibility issues at the time he got his green card.
For legal advice on whether there are any pitfalls in his case, feel free to contact me at [email protected] or visit my website at www.yardum-hunter.com for information or organize an initial consultation.
Sincerely,
Alice
