Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I am a green card holder since Sept ,2005 and going out of the country every year for 4 to 5 months to visit my sickly and old mother or staying in the US for more than 7 months each year. Am I now qualified to aply for UScitizenship? I obtained my green card thru a petition from my US citizen daughter. Did I satisfy the 30 months requirement out of the 5 years being a green card holder?

Hi,

As no single absence is for 180 days or more, and since you are physically present for more than 50% of the time in the 5 year window immediately preceding the filing of the naturalization application, it is OK to file the naturalization application now since it can be filed up to 90 days prior to being permanent resident for 5 year period.
