Second H1b with higher degree
Hi
If person A is currently on H-1b with his bachelors degree and completes his masters degree during his H-1b period. Can he apply for a second H-1b on the basis of higher degree? or he still has to leave the country after 6 years, for one year.

Re: Second H1b with higher degree
Change of degree cannot be used to apply for H1B beyond 6-y limits.
One can apply for H1B beyond 6-y limit based on pending labor certification or I-140, or based on staying outside of US for more than 1 year.
