Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
H1B Travel Question
Hello!
I will be applying for an H1b.
My question is: can I travel during the time that my application will be considered?
I currently have an F2 status until 2007. I know that the first part of the application is through the state labor agency or something like that for the wage determination, and then the application to the USCIS. So let's say the application is submitted to the USCIS. Can I travel at that point?
Thank you for your time. I appreciate it.
Kind regards.

Re: H1B Travel Question
Yes, you can travel. However, you might have trouble coming back to the U.S. on an F-2 Visa, since your intent to enter the U.S. is no longer that of a dependent of a student visa.
