H1-B Visa Expiring

Hello! I've had an H1-B visa for six years. It will be expiring in a few months. My employer already filed an I-140 on my behalf, but the priority date for my category is not current and I don't believe it will be current any time soon. What can I do to remain in the USA? What are my options? Thank you for your time.
