Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

H4 -f1-h1

I have converted from h4 to F1 and now i applied for OPT and i am planning to apply for H1 later. If i go to india on H1 and go for stamping do i need to tell anything about F1 as my stamp in visa is H4 and did not go to india after change to F1

Changing your status from H-4 to F-1 was perfectly legal, but you have changed your status for perhaps no reason. An H-4 may study in the US without changing status to F-1. If you are asked about your prior status(es)you need to be 100% candid, or you could be barred from reentering teh US for misrepresentation.
