Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
My H1-4 visa is changed to F1 status by immigration authorities after perusing my I-20 issued by Tri-Valley Univ,CA.Now the university has been charged with violation of immigration regulations.what happens to my new visa status.

Well depending on ICE you may be issued an NTA (Notice to Appear) for Immigration Court, because you are present in the United States out of status. It is important to consult with an immigration attorney. You may be able to get reinstated to F-1 status if you apply to another SEVIS approved university- and go through the reinstatement process with USCIS. I would recommend you consult with an immigration attorney.
