Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Hi, I am currently H4 visa and the Employment Authorization Document is under process, will get it after about 3 months. My nationality is Chinese, now there is a Chinese company, which has sites both in the US and China, will offer me an intern opportunity in Beijing (China) office, but I prefer to remotely work in the office of the US or at home in the US. I don't have OPT or H1B visa, according to my visa status, can I remotely work in the site of the US or at home located in the US for the position in its Beijing's site? Is it legal?

Yes, as long as you have a valid EAD, then you can work for anyone in the U.S.

As far as working for a foreign company, or working as an unpaid intern, this is a grey area, but I do not foresee any conflicts with a valid EAD anyway.
