i heard that the lapd is has a ban on immigration enforcement,,,,
what if my friend has a deportation in absense
if my friend gets pulled over in a routine stop,,,,,will he ( can he) get arrested for immigration order or let him go? he will start re-opening his case in a year,,,,but doesnt know if he will get arrested when he goes to re-new his i.d.

If he is pulled over, he could be arrested due to his immigration lack of status. If he intends to reopen his case, waiting a year will disqualify him. He needs to have his case properly analyzed so as not to lose opportunity. If it's too late, he won't be able to change the outcome whereas if he acts soon enough, he may.
