Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Hi-

I am thinking of applying for naturalization. I have had my green card for almost 10 yrs. The issue of concern is that I went through marriage annulment instead of divorce, and my green card was sponsored by my ex wife. The annulment was based on "significant misunderstanding" since one party wants kids (my ex wife) while I was not financially in a position to start a family. This put a lot of stress in our marriage.

Is it possible to apply for naturalization if my marriage was annulled? How will this affect me?

Hello:

There would be risks in going forward. I would have to see the annulment.

Do you have a conditional greencard? If not, you should be able to naturalize. For a free case analysis, please contact my office at 1-800-408-5818 or email me at [email protected]..
