Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hi:
I'm a conditional permanent resident (I married an American citizen). My employment authorization card is about to expire. I need to renew it and I found that a i-765 form should be filled. However, on the instructions to fill this form it says:
"If you are a lawful permanent resident, a conditional resident, .....do not use this form"
I cannot find other form to fill on the uscis site, can you please tell me what form should I use?

Hi,
A conditional resident does not require EAD. Your conditional resident status allows for employment automatically without the need for EAD.
You should ensure that a petition to remove the conditions on residence is filed within the 90 day window prior to expiration of your conditional resident status.
