Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hi,
Is it OK if I submit to USCIS a supporting document, such as a marriage contract, translated and notarized in Vietnam? or a paper should be notarized in the U.S.? I am a green-card holder and petitioning my wife.
Thanks!

Hi,
It is OK to submit a document from any country, as long as you submit both the document in the original language (copy is fine), as well as english translation. The english translation can be from Vietnam as well.
