Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
my husband got arrested for ''id theft" (i.e. using false documents to work) and has an ins hold placed on him, therefore is no bail. is there more likelihood of him being deported than anything else?

At this point, when there is an immigration hold, your focus should be on how to try to win the deportation/removal proceedings, rather than whether he will simply be deported or whether the hold will disappear.
