Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Illigal immigrants parents of U.S. Citizen child
Can the parents of a U.S. born baby be deported if they are here illegaly? If so, can the baby be deported also even though it is a U.S. Citizen? What should the first steps be for these parents to legalize their status?

Yes, of course, they can be deported. The baby can't be deported but who would leave their baby behind? There's no entitlement to any right just because one has a baby here.
Best way to legalize is to get your parents or children over 21 to petition for you if they're US citizens. But you wouldn't be asking this question if you had those options because you would already have done it! Another way is to have a company sponsor you for a full-time job. If you don't have these, it's pretty tough, especially if you've been here for less than ten years. That's why there are millions of illegals in this country. They try and try but can't find a way to legalize.
