Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
If an immigration application is denied on the grounds of abandonment can you reapply and if so is there a waiting period? ( the app is for my wife---we had to miss a appointment--we gave notice that we couldnt make it , but they didnt accept the reason. And we cant currently afford the 650.00 they want to reopen the case within 30 days)

You would have to pay for a motion to reopen the case, or file a new application. Either way, I'd encourage you to seek immigration counsel. If you have questions, you may email: [email protected] or phone 415-387-1364.
