Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

immigration -change status

I am a seafarer, finished my contract onboard the ship and was scheduled to flight back to my home country last February, I checked in at the airport and got my boarding pass but decided not to board, instead i went to my girlfriends place and got married last month. My question is can I apply to change my status? my wife is a US citizen, my passport is still valid and my visa is C1/D also valid. My parents are immigrants here in the US and they petitioned me 1999 as a single. thank you for your help.
