Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
immigration hold
My ex-husband became a U.S. citizen about 20 years ago. He was arrested on a felony charge last year and is serving about 18 months in prison. They put an immigration hold on him. How can he or I have this taken off?

Re: immigration hold
If he's a US citizen then there shouldn't be an immigration hold on him. Citizen's don't get deported.

Citizens are not deportable. Give INS the copy of the citizenship certificate.
