Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Immigration

I am a registered nurse from Russia and was practicing in intensive care unit for 7 years as a nurse anesthetist. Now Im in US on the student visa. The CA Board of Registered Nursing evaluated my diploma and indicates that my education does not meet the requirements in two subjects. And I cannot to take NCLEX without complete this two courses. Do I have to support my I-20 visa by being a full time student? Or, can I take just these two subjects and work in the health-care system? What I should do in my situation?

Thank you

Tatiana
