Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I was an Indian Citizen, Now I became US Citizen, I am planning to sponsor my parernt.
Their birth date in their passport is not same in the DS 230 form which I was given to US Emabassy in India 5 years ago for my visa process,So I want to know whether USCIS will verify their birth date with the old DS 230 form?.

There is a possibility they might do that. It's unpredictable. The question is why? If there is a rational explanation, such as a harmless error, then that should be documented and that information should be available if needed for explanation.
For example, if there are two recorded birth dates with transposed numbers, or some other error, or if your parent believed based on certain facts that they were born on one day and later discovered that s/he was born on another day, this sort of thing can be proven with independent evidence. These cases turn on the strength of evidence.
The above is general information. It is not legal advice and does not form an attorney client relationship. For further information, feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 818 609 1953.
