Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

my interview date

My dad is an LPR. On March 16, 2000 he applied for me. It has been a couple of months On the state department site I see They have been processing cases with priority dates after mine. I think that I should have been given an interview. I am not sure if I can pursue this with a lawyer.

MY case is F2A and is in Ankara, Turkey. Would you please advice me and let me know if a lawyer can do something about this.

Thanks

Re: my interview date

To be able to apply immediately for adjustment of status depends on the following:

1) Whether you are under 21

2) If not, whether your father submitted your application before you turned 21, and

3) If you are over 21, whether you are single or not.

Re: my interview date

It seems your case is long delayed. You should have an attorney check the case with the government.
