L2 transfer to E3 or H1

Hi, I am currently in the USA on a L2 VISA and I am still waiting for my EAD to be processed. I have been offered numerous jobs using an E3 or H1 VISA. How do I go about transfering from an L2? Do you also know how long it will take to transfer? Will it be quicker to transfer if I leave the USA to apply for a H1 or E3?

As long as you are in status, you should be able to move to E3 as soon as your petition is approved.as for h1b, you will be subject to the cap. The cap will lock you until next year oct 2008. You can apply for H1b only in April of next year..and the visa will be valid from Oct, 2008. In any event do not leave the coutry it does not help anyway.
